Louis CITY SC ("CITY SC") to support the physical, mental and social well-being of youth in the St. Louis region, today announced a partnership with the Pro Football Hall of Fame ("PFHOF") and St. 14, 2023 /PRNewswire/ - Centene Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) focused on investing in initiatives with holistic approaches to dismantling barriers to health, and The Little Bit Foundation ("Little Bit"), an organization that works to eliminate barriers to learning for under-resourced students in the St. Louis CITY SC and the Pro Football Hall of Fame will work with the Centene Foundation and the Little Bit Foundation to support programs focused on physical, mental and social well-being CITY will renovate the Union Square Plaza building at 326 S. 21st Street to house the headquarters.Centene Foundation's grant to the Little Bit Foundation will support the expansion of programs benefitting more than 14,000 St. There will also be a keeper-specific training area. The updates include a team store, fan pavilion, and club headquarters. Nearly a year ago, leadership shared updated renderings of the club's plans for its stadium district. The plans for the district include a training and performance center for the first team and the club's academy, as well as three practice fields. One of the fields will be turf, and the other two will be natural grass. Louis–based architecture firm HOK and Julie Snow, co-founder of Snow Kreilich Architects, isn't the only component of the CITY vision for Downtown West. As for other announcements that fans can expect, the kit design has yet to be revealed. "We have seats going in, aesthetics fine-tuned, getting ready to work on concessions and really kind of hone in on that fan experience," she said. In the announcement, Betz said that she expects the stadium construction to be "substantially complete" at the end of the summer. More recently, Bradley Carnell and Selmir Pidro were brought on as head coach and first player, respectively. In March 2021, CITY announced Purina as its first founding partner and kit sponsor. German soccer star Lutz Pfannenstiel was hired as the team's sporting director in August 2020. The name is just the latest in a series of highly anticipated announcements regarding the soccer team's identity and vision. On Monday, 5 on Your Side sports director Frank Cusumano was first to report that Centene would be announced as the stadium naming-rights sponsor.
